  • Feb 2015: My paper “Continuous Median Queries in Wireless Sensor Networks” got accepted in MDM 2015
  • September 2014:I’m serving as an external reviewer for VLDB 2015, ICDE 2015 and as a PC member for GraphSM 2015.
  • June 2014: Our paper “An Experimental Comparison of Pregel-like Graph Processing Systems” got accepted at VLDB 2014
  • May 2014: I started my research internship at IBM Research Almaden in the bay area.

  • April 2013: Awarded the Fundamentals of University Teaching Certificate from University of Waterloo.
  • April 2013: My Thesis project was awarded IBM CAS Fellowship
  • Feb 2013: My paper “Cost-Based Quantile Query Processing in Wireless Sensor Networks” got accepted in MDM 2013.
  • Jan 2013: Re-selected as the Head of Marketing for the PMI-CTT annual symposium.
  • Jan 2013: Elected as the Vice-President of the Egyptian Student Association  in North America (ESANA).
